Disability and Accessibility Summit 2026

Join the CSUSB community to explore the state-of-the-art accessibility, share research, and hear directly from Students With Disabilities about what supports access, and what barriers remain. The key highlights of the Disability and Accessibility 2026 Summit are:

  • Keynote speakers of national/international repute on promoting equal opportunity and inclusion for People With Disabilities.
  • Seminal presentations by key stakeholders like Services to Students with Disabilities, Accessible Technology and Training Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Library Services, and Multimedia and Immersive Services
  • Student and faculty round table discussions on facilitators and barriers in receiving Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accommodations.
  • Student, faculty, and departmental research presentations on disability, assistive technology, and inclusive practices in higher education.
  • A fashion show celebrating confidence, creativity, and disability pride among people with disabilities.
  • Resource tables by key service providers for Students With Disabilities like Services to Students with Disabilities (SSD), Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), Accessible Technology & Training Services, Student Assistance in Learning (SAIL), and Library Services.
  • Accessibility mixer where students, faculty, and staff from across the CSUSB have the opportunity to network and make interdisciplinary/disability connections with each other while enjoying lunch and relaxing music.
