- Demonstration of proficiency in basic reading, writing and mathematics skills to fulfill Basic Skills Requirement
- California Preliminary Administrative Credential Examination (CPACE)
- Demonstration of skills in situational analysis, problem solving and decision making in educational leadership
Note: The final administration of the current CPACE examination will be in February 2015. Field testing for the revised examination will take place between Fall 2014 and Winter 2015 and the initial administration will be scheduled for Summer 2015.

- CBEST, CSET & RICA test preparation workshops are available via the Accelerated Subjects-Matter Acquisition Program (ASAP) sponsored by the Riverside County Office of Education and CSUSB College of Education.
