Why are you proud to be a transfer student? Provide highlights of your college career so far.

I went to Crafton Hills College for sometime and worked hard to transfer to CSUSB. School has always been important for me. I push my little girls to excel in school so they can have a career to look forward to in the near future.

What was the most challenging part of being a transfer student? How did you overcome it?

Being a parent and working full time has been the most challenging for me.

What were your reasons for transferring? Have you achieved your objectives?

I wanted to transfer to obtain a bachelors degree in anthropology. I’m reaching for my goals everyday at CSUSB.

How has CSUSB helped you attain your academic and personal goals as a transfer student?

I met with my advisers that put me on a successful path at CSUSB. This helped guide me to where I need to be to pursue my degree.

What is the best part of being a transfer student? What makes transfer students special?

Transferring from a community college to CSUSB has been a great experience for learning. I have met great people and professors throughout my school journey. Being a transfer student shows your hard work and dedication.
