Certificate in Health Services Administration
Program Description:
The Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) Program in Health Services Administration equips students with essential, in-demand skills needed to excel in the healthcare industry across government, nonprofit, and private sectors. As healthcare organizations grow in complexity, this program provides students with the knowledge and leadership abilities needed to navigate regulatory demands, operational challenges, and patient care priorities in today’s healthcare landscape.
The Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Health Services Administration can be used as a pathway toward CSUSB’s Master of Science in Health Services Administration (MSHSA) program. Students who successfully complete their PGC program can apply their sixteen (16) PGC credits MSHSA program. However, PGC graduates are not automatically admitted to the MSHSA program; they must apply separately to the program and meet its academic and other requirements.

- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university

Application Details:
- Bachelor’s Degree: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, with a grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or above using the entire degree or the last 60 semester (90 quarter) units of course work, which may include post-baccalaureate work.
- Unofficial Transcripts: Upload unofficial transcripts from all institutions attended. CSUSB students are not required to submit any CSUSB transcripts. However, if your transcript is not in English, you must also send a certified literal English translation of the transcripts along with the official original-language transcripts with proof of degree.
- Academic Record: If a graduate applicant has earned a bachelor's degree, please upload a copy of official degree diploma or official verification of degree completion.
