Certificate in Public Health

Program Description:
The Post-Graduate Certificate (PGC) Program in Public Health is designed to equip professionals with the specialized skills needed to make an impact in a rapidly growing field. As global health concerns such as pandemics, chronic diseases, and environmental issues continue to rise, there is an increasing demand for qualified public health professionals. Our program prepares you to meet this demand, helping to address workforce shortages and open doors to new opportunities.
The Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Public Health can be used as a pathway toward CSUSB’s Master of Public Health (MPH) degree program. Students who successfully complete their PGC program can apply their sixteen (16) PGC credits to the MPH program. However, PGC graduates are not automatically admitted to the MPH program; they must apply separately to the program and meet its academic and other requirements.
