Non-Industrial Disability Insurance (NDI) is a benefit administered by the Employment Development Department, for California State University employees. NDI provides up to 26 weeks (approximately 6 months) of benefits to eligible employees who are unable to work due to non-work-related illness or injury.

NDI benefits range from half of your full pay to a maximum of $125 per week, whichever is less. ($135 per week for Employee Bargaining Unit 1, $250 per week for Executive, MPP, Confidential and Employee Bargaining Units 2,5,7,9).
