University Hall

This is one of the busiest and most visited buildings on campus, and it’s easy to see why. University Hall is home to the College of Arts and Letters and four of its key academic departments: Communication studies, English, philosophy, and world languages and literatures. As you walk through the halls, you’ll find everything from student media labs to tutoring centers, all buzzing with activity.

Peek inside the Video Production Lab, where communication students get real-world experience behind the camera. Stop by the Multimedia Language Center for language tutoring, translation tools, and cultural media resources. You might even catch the latest edition of the Coyote Chronicle, CSUSB’s independent student newspaper that’s been publishing since 1965.

University Hall is also the go-to spot for essential student services. On the first and second floors, you’ll find the Office of Admissions, Financial Aid and Scholarships, the Registrar’s Office, Academic Advising, Student Financial Services, and Parking Services. This building also houses key support programs like EOP and SAIL, Services to Students with Disabilities, and the Office of Student Conduct and Ethical Development.

Whether you're here to meet with your advisor, pick up a course schedule, or film your next media project, this building brings together academics and student life all under one roof.
