John M. Pfau Library
Ready to find your favorite study spot on campus? Named after CSUSB’s founding president, the John M. Pfau Library is more than just a place to check out books. It’s where research, creativity, and student life all come together.
Head inside and you’ll find quiet corners, soundproof group study rooms, computer labs, printers, and access to more than 750,000 books, journals, and digital resources. If you need help finding something, librarians are available in person and online to guide you through the search. Make sure to check out The Cave, CSUSB’s 24/7 study space located in the wedge of the library. It’s open late, stocked with vending machines, and perfect for those late-night study sessions.
Want to get creative? The Innovation Lab and Innovation Studio offer 3D printing, podcasting, and video editing tools that students can use for free. All you need is an idea and a little curiosity. The xREAL Lab, also located here, supports projects using virtual reality, artificial intelligence, and immersive media. If you’re into tech, this is a great space to explore.
And don’t miss the basement. That’s where you’ll find Coyote Radio, CSUSB’s award-winning student-run radio station. Whether you’re listening in, applying to be a DJ, or joining the promo team, it’s one of the coolest ways to get involved on campus.
From academic support to creative outlets, the Pfau Library is a space where ideas turn into action. Take a look around. Your next project, playlist, or “aha” moment might start right here.
