Conversion/Transformation Proposal
All existing programs should submit a proposal to the Q2S committee by November 1, 2016. Please see the Conversion-Transformation Proposal and Descriptions. Please direct your questions to Dr. Kimberly Costino, Director of Semester Conversion.
When converting program units from quarter to semester, the Q2S Steering Committee recommends the following structure:
- Minimum number of units for a BA: 36 (one course less than current practice)
- Minimum number of units for a BS: 39
- Minimum number of units for a Minor: 18 (this is our current smallest minor; the majority consist of 24 units)
- Minimum number of units for a MA/MS: 30 (the Title V requirement)
