The Department of Nursing at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) invites applications from those seeking a full-time lecturer position in the Department of Nursing (DON) for the start of the academic year, 2023-2024. The successful candidate will be expected to fulfill the responsibilities of a full-time Simulation/ Skills Laboratory Coordinator for the CSUSB two-site nursing programs. It is anticipated the position will periodically afford opportunities to teach outside the Skills/Simulation Lab.
Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree or higher in Nursing and eligibility for California RN licensure.
Qualified candidates must demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring a diverse student population and to working effectively with faculty, staff and students across a wide range of disciplines.
Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, implementing, and evaluating simulated and skills lab learning experiences; coordinating purchase, maintenance, and repairs of simulation technology; assisting with faculty development for simulation; advising on purchases of simulation technology to complement program curricula; maintaining laboratory inventory; ensuring safe storage and disposal of hazardous materials; coordinating skills/simulation lab scheduling, and; any other duties as assigned and/or required.

Department of Nursing Open Part-Time Positions
Part-Time Faculty Positions, Clinical Instructor
California State University, San Bernardino invites applications for part time faculty, clinical instructor positions in the Department of Nursing. Candidate must be able to work well with administration, local hospitals, as well as community agencies. Evidence of BRN approval must be provided at the time of application. Preferred candidates will be expected to meet the requirements of excellence in teaching and service to the university and community. Applicants with an earned Doctorate in Nursing, or a Master's in Nursing with a Doctorate in a related field are preferred. However, applicants with an earned MSN will be considered. Candidates must be qualified to teach at the undergraduate level in the BSN generic program with clinical expertise in nursing. Candidates must show outstanding teaching experience or potential. California RN license is required for this appointment and clinical skills must be current. The department is seeking candidates to participate in our expanding programs and to apply their expertise in multicultural communities. Salary will be competitive, and commensurate with appointment rank and qualifications.
Salary: Dependent on qualifications and experience.
