How much does the Early Start Program cost?

The Early Start Program is free to students who will be attending CSUSB in the fall.*

Students who will be attending another CSU in the fall will pay $182 per class, along with the cost of books and/or software.**

*Students attending CSUSB in fall, who request to meet their Early Start English requirement at another CSU and have an Estimated Family Contribution (EFC) less than $5000 will be eligible for a few waiver. If the EFC is above $5000 course fees (including books and/or software) will apply.
