How to partner with OCFP

The CSUSB Office of Corporate and Foundation Philanthropy (OCFP) is a campus-wide resource for those within the CSUSB community fostering collaborations with, and seeking support from, non-governmental sources (corporations and foundations).

OCFP staff can assist you with:

  • Identifying and cultivating corporate and foundation funding prospects

  • All aspects of grant inquiries, submittals and re-submittals, including proposal writing and budget development

  • Organizing pre-award meetings among staff, faculty/principal investigator and other key team members

  • Work with foundations to assure their goals are met

  • Organize, plan, and host visits to campus

  • Develop proposals, gift agreements and grant letters

  • Facilitate recognition of and for foundations

  • Introduce and engage university leadership

  • Negotiating and accepting an award

  • Post-award support including progress reports, stewardship, grant renewals

  • Managing and administrating awards, including assisting with change and extension notifications and ensuring compliance

  • Maintaining relationships with major funders during and after the grant cycle

  • SPIN - (Sponsored Programs Information Network) - Use the searchable database to locate funding opportunities or create an online profile that will provide daily emails about new programs as they become public.
