Writing Support for the CSUSB Community
The CSUSB Writing Centers include The Writing Center, The Graduate Writing Center, The English Language Support Center, and Spanish Writing Consultations. Students, faculty, and staff use the Writing Centers to work on writing projects for courses, publication, personal writing projects, resumes, applications, scholarships, and more. Our consultations are conducted in person and online. Our team of writing consultants are graduate and undergraduate students in a variety of majors.
The faculty portion of our website is designed as a resource for faculty to learn about our mission, to collect shareable writing resources, and to collaborate with the Writing Centers.
Faculty
Faculty make additional use of the Writing Centers by encouraging their students to bring their writing projects to work with us and by scheduling in-class collaborative workshops and informative presentations. We thank you for collaborating with us as we seek to support learning, growth, and the writing success of your students. Please explore our website to learn about the CSUSB Writing Centers and how we support writers in the CSUSB community.
If you would like for any (or all) of your classes to receive a brief (10-15 min.) informational presentation regarding the Writing Center or Graduate Writing Center, our consultants would be pleased to visit in person or via Zoom.
Visit our faculty resources page where you'll find sample text to include about the Writing Centers on your syllabus in addition to links and downloadable resources.
