Bryan Castillo (geological sciences) was interviewed about whether earthquakes can be predicted, Miranda M. McIntyre (psychology) published research on the subjective characteristics of individual differences in interests, and Joseph Tormey (hospitality management) and Eric Newman (marketing) published a paper on the use of social media marketing to promote the hospitality management program.

“A Taste of Spain,” held on March 13, showcased the university’s hospitality management program and featured famous foods from Spain and a flamenco guitarist from Madrid. Students in the program shared their stories about how impactful the program has been for them.

 

Palm Desert Campus to host gala

“A Taste of Spain,” an evening of sangria, tapas, paella, roast pork and flamenco music, will take place on Sunday, March 13, from 5-8 p.m. at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa in Palm Desert.
