CSU Red Folder

Dear Campus Community,

On behalf of the CARE Team, we would like to share information on a CSU Chancellor's Office Initiative that has been designed to provide additional resources for each of us as we work to support CSUSB community members in times of need or distress: the Red Folder.

Available in multiple formats, the Red Folder is a reference tool that contains safety tips and contact information for a wide variety of emergency campus resources. It also provides guidance on responding to incidents in which a community member might report being a danger to self or a threat to others. The Red Folder is now accessible at each CSUSB university-owned desktop and wallet sizes cards have now been distributed for personal use. Our PDC CARE Team liaison will distribute materials to the Palm Desert campus to make resources available to the university community.

Red Folder

The CSU Red Folder is available for download as a PDF for desktop as well as the Red Folder App, designed by CSUSB students and Professor Art Concepcion,  it is available for free on mobile devices.

The CARE Team is here to answer questions, provide resource referrals, and share information about the Red Folder Initiative by sending an email to CARE@csusb.edu.

Sincerely,

CARE Team Chairs
