CSUSB’s Department of Geological Sciences celebrates 35 years of impact and excellence
CSUSB’s Department of Geological Sciences celebrated its 35th anniversary with a campus gathering that highlighted its impact on students, alumni and the region. The event recognized distinguished alumni, honored retiring faculty, and underscored the department’s contributions to education, research and workforce development.
This month looks at Cal State San Bernardino during the 2000s, when the university experienced continued growth in enrollment and facilities, and the opening of the Palm Desert Campus’s first building.
CSUSB’s College of Natural Sciences hosted the CNS Science Carnival, welcoming nearly 500 Inland Empire students, teachers, staff and families for a day of hands-on STEM exploration. The event featured interactive exhibits, live demonstrations and engaging learning experiences led by CSUSB faculty, staff and students.
Students at Cal State San Bernardino are gaining hands-on experience with motion capture technology, discovering new ways to tell stories and expanding their career possibilities in fields ranging from entertainment to emerging media.
