CSUSB professor Stuart Sumida speaks out in Bears Ears National Monument lawsuit
Stuart Sumida, in his capacity as president of the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology, says the organization’s lawsuit seeks to protect Bears Ears’ fossil resources, cultural sites and tribal connections.
What can we discover when we look beyond the surface? RAFFMA’s “To See Through” explores transparency, translucency and the visible versus the invisible. The exhibition is curated by Katherine Gray, professor, renowned glass artist and Netflix’s “Blown Away” resident evaluator.
Seventy-four students in grades 8-10 explored algebra, engineering and college life through CSUSB’s sixth annual Summer Algebra Institute. Hosted by CSUSB’s Cal-SOAP, the program combined personalized math instruction with hands-on projects and field trips designed to build confidence and prepare students for academic success.
Coyote Days brought students together for food, games and fun — along with plenty of opportunities to discover campus resources, make connections and find new ways to get involved at CSUSB.
