Examining the world of professional bodybuilding

Guillermo Escalante, a competitive bodybuilder and Assistant Dean and Professor of Kinesiology in the College of Natural Sciences at California State University, San Bernardino, was one of the guests on a program that focused on professional bodybuilding, tied to The Arnold Sports Festival to be held in Columbus, Ohio, in March.


Shifts in STEM student perceptions of online classes across 18 months

Yunfei Hou (computer science and engineering) led a team of CSUSB faculty – Amir Ghasemkhani (computer science and engineering), Hani Aldirawi (mathematics), Miranda McIntyre (psychology) and Montgomery Van Wart (public administration) – that examined the shift in perceptions of STEM students to online classes. “This study investigates the evolution of student perceptions after one and a half years relative to synchronous courses, asynchronous courses, overall satisfaction with online courses, and lab and project-based courses,” the abstract reads.
