Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies Program

CSUSB offers a certificate in Gender and Sexuality Studies. The aim of the program is to prepare students, through the study of gender and sexuality, with insights, knowledge, and interpretive frameworks that will equip them personally, intellectually, and professionally. The program allows students to examine how gender and sexuality as social constructs shape individual lives, groups, institutions, and social structures. Students will have the opportunity to examine individual development, couples, families, small groups, and organizations as well as the media, arts, and economic and political systems. The program encourages students to examine how gender and sexuality intersect with race, culture, ethnicity, and social class in the interest of social justice. Toward these ends, students customize programs specifically to their interests and professional goals, selecting from a wide variety of courses across the university.
