Graduating With Honors
Undergraduate students majoring in Criminal Justice are eligible to graduate with honors in criminal justice at graduation if the following conditions are met:
- At least one-half of the course work required by the major is completed at this university;
- At least a 3.5 grade point average in the major;
- An overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 ('B')
Students interested in receiving this recognition must initiate the process by completing an application with a School of Criminology and Criminal Justice Administrative Support Coordinator. Applications for honors candidacy must be submitted prior to the Census date for the semester term in which the student is graduating. Approval of candidacy rests with the department.
