Racial and gender profiling and sexual violence of New Orleans police examined in online program
Lydia Pelot-Hobbs, a University of Kentucky assistant professor of geography, will present "We Deserve Better: Contesting Racialized Sexual and Gender Policing,” at the next Conversations on Race and Policing, Nov. 6, on Zoom. The program is free and open to the public.
Prospective CSUSB students and their families visited the university’s San Bernardino campus on Oct. 26 for Fall Preview Day. The event introduced prospective students to the academic and social opportunities available at CSUSB. Fall Preview Day at the Palm Desert Campus is scheduled for Nov. 9.
Another great turnout at one of CSUSB’s most beloved traditions: Homecoming week. This year, 1,800 alumni, current students and community members attended the event to show off their coyote pride and honor the university’s rich history, achievements and goals on Oct. 21-26.
