CSUSB celebrates Black History Month

Black History Month is an annual month-long celebration dedicated to highlighting African American culture and recognizing individuals who have gone above in an effort to provide education for future leaders destined to make an impact in the world.

CSUSB proudly participates in this annual celebration of awareness, education, and excellence within our campus communities. CSUSB is devoted to the academic achievements of its students and provides multiple resources catered to student success. From workshops and mentorships to campus organizations and resources such as the Pan-African Student Center, Black Student Union, and the Black Faculty, Staff and Student Association, CSUSB is committed to continue providing a safe and welcoming learning environment for African American college students to thrive and become leaders who define the future.

Our students have benefited from these programs because of the dedicated faculty and staff who guide them through their educational journey. We invite you watch this video highlighting our black scholars, programs and resources available at CSUSB, and encourage you to visit the CSUSB Black History Month website to participate in our events all month long.
