Supplemental Instruction (SI)
SI is a research-based, locally-proven method for helping students succeed in challenging courses by providing additional subject-matter discussion, support, and guidance for the strengthening of critical college skills.
- SI is free and open to all students enrolled in the corresponding course
- SI sessions meet twice a week for 50 minutes each
- Each session is limited to 20 students to create and maintain a small group learning environment
Under “Does my course have SI?” you will see a drop down for each subject. If the location reads “Online” you can sign up for your PDC course by contacting the SI Leader for that course.
CSUSB Tutoring Center is located in University Hall 350. In-person and Online tutoring is offered to students from the San Bernardino and Palm Desert Campus.
If you are a Palm Desert Campus searching for tutoring for a specific subject that the Student Success Studio at PDC does not offer, you are able to schedule an appointment with a tutor at the San Bernardino campus. Click on the following grey button for access to their tutoring portal.
WC-Online for San Bernardino Campus
Note: You must make an additional WC-Online account to access the schedule for tutors at the San Bernardino Campus. The WC-online account created for the Student Success Studio will NOT work to access the San Bernardino's Tutoring center WC-online schedule.
