To ensure aligned measures exist for continual improvement of funded programs and projects, units receiving SSI fee-generated funds work with an Institutional Effectiveness Associate in the Office of Institutional Research who is dedicated to the support of assessment efforts. Via their work together, units articulate clear goals and outcomes for their funded programs and projects, map activities in support of the outcomes, and identify appropriate measures aligned to said outcomes. Collected evidence and data is then analyzed so that program improvements can be made during the course of the three- to five-year funding cycles.
