Pre-PA Student Resources

The CSUSB MSPA program is dedicated to supporting pre-PA students on their journey to becoming PAs. The program will continue to add resources to this page for pre-PAs when available. These organizations are not affiliated directly with CSUSB, so please direct all questions related to these programs to the organizations themselves.

Physician Associates for Latino Health (PALH) Mentorship Program

The PALH Mentorship Program aims to build strong, supportive relationships among practicing PAs, PA students, and pre-PA students to promote professional growth and development. Through the mentorship program, Pre-PA participants can benefit from structured educational content, personalized mentorship, and community engagement, including cohort meetings, mock interviews, and personal statement reviews.

Vida Mobile Clinic

The Shadowing Experience Program provides in-person shadowing hours*, clinical skills training, and volunteer opportunities for students with limited clinical exposure, particularly those from underserved backgrounds. Held in the San Fernando Valley, the program is free, though participants are responsible for their own travel and personal expenses.

CAPA's Pre-PA Pathways provides PA program resources and information as well as networking opportunities for those interested in pursuing a PA career.
