The Mission of the Community Counseling Center is two-fold. The Center aims to provide low-cost counseling services to community members, many of whom could not otherwise afford services, and provide intensive high-quality training to prepare new therapists to be able to work successfully in the community. The Community Counseling Center is unique in this dedication of service and training.

Client fees cover only a small portion of our total costs. Charitable gifts of any size are greatly appreciated and accepted here. Donors can be anonymous or named. If you choose to give, please indicate that you would like the gift to support the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences and indicate support of the Community Counseling Center in the Gift Instructions section. A gift of only $400 covers the typical costs of services for one client.
