Alumni Engagement Code of Conduct for Recruitment Outreach
As a volunteer in CSUSB’s alumni recruitment initiative, you play a vital role in encouraging prospective students to become part of our Coyote family. To ensure professionalism, confidentiality, and respect throughout this process, we ask that all participating alumni agree to the following code of conduct:
Confidentiality: All prospective student information provided to you (including names, contact details, and other personal data) must be treated as confidential. You agree not to retain, share, or distribute this information outside of the designated outreach efforts.
Data Use: Any student data or information shared with you is solely for the purpose of this program. Once your volunteer responsibilities are complete, you agree to securely dispose of any personal information provided.
Respectful Communication: All interactions with prospective students should be conducted in a respectful, courteous, and professional manner. Your role is to provide encouragement and answer questions, not to pressure or coerce.
Representation of CSUSB: As a representative of CSUSB, you are expected to uphold the university’s values in your communication. Please ensure that all messaging is supportive, inclusive, and in line with the mission and values of the university.
By participating in this initiative, you agree to abide by the above guidelines to ensure the success of our recruitment efforts and protect the privacy of our prospective students.
