Philip H. Swartz, Ph.D., currently works as a teacher in the Southern California public school system as well as a faculty member in the departments of Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Counseling and Teacher Education and Foundations at California State University, San Bernardino. His work in both the public schools and at the university level focuses on literacy learning for struggling learners, special needs, and English learners.
