Bio

Kelli is an Inland Empire native who grew up in Corona. Always an avid radio listener, her first radio internship was as a senior at Norco High School, working afternoons at the local Corona AM station, KWRM. After graduating high school, Kelli attended San Bernardino Valley College, earning an AA degree in Radio-Television. She then transferred to San Diego State University to pursue her Bachelor of Science degree in Radio-Television-Film.

During her radio and television career, Kelli was an announcer for PBS stations KVCR-TV, San Bernardino, and KPBS-TV, San Diego. Being that radio was her first love, she pursued a path in being a radio personality and program director, creating the content and operations of several radio stations. Kelli’s radio jobs have been here in the Inland Empire, as well as in San Diego, Bakersfield, Chico, and Corpus Christi, Texas.

She joined CSUSB in July 2018 as a Public Affairs/Communication Specialist running the operations at Coyote Radio & Advertising. The radio station and advertising agency are student-run and part of the College of Arts and Letters. There is a lower division and upper division practicum course taught in Coyote Radio and Advertising as part of the bachelor’s degree in the Department of Communication and Media Studies. Coyote Radio & Advertising is located in the basement of the Pfau Library (“Wedge”) Building, 032.
