Bio

Dr. Erika Flores is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, holds a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential in School Counseling. She enjoys teaching online for California Baptist University, lecturing face-to-face at California State University, San Bernardino, and seeing clients in therapy. Dr. Flores currently works with children, teenagers, and young adults who are struggling with various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, and trauma. She feels that "it is an honor to be invited into the heart of one who is hurting so deeply; therapy offers the opportunity to create a holding space for someone, and lets them know that they are not alone." Dr. Flores also supervises and consults therapists who are currently practicing. During her free time, she enjoys practicing self-care by spending time with loved ones (including two cats), seeing movies, attending clinical training/workshops, and reading. She accepted the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award in 2022 with much gratitude!
