My name is Cameron Van Wye. I was born and raised, and currently reside in, the Inland Empire with my wife (Megan) and son (Parker). I've been teaching within the Kinesiology Department at California State University, San Bernardino for several years and love being able to enrich our community through higher learning. In addition to being a lecturer for the Kinesiology Department at California State University, San Bernardino, I am a Lifestyle Educator with Kaiser Permanente's Center for Healthy Living, where I specialize as a Clinical Exercise Specialist with a focus on how exercise can help treat lifestyle-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes, and obesity.
I hold a M.S. in Exercise Science from California Baptist University, and a B.S. in Physical Education from San Diego State University. I am a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and an Olympic Weightlifting Coach with United States Weightlifting, where I hold a Level 1 Sports Performance Certification. Furthermore, I hold an Exercise in Medicine Level 1 credential from the American College of Sports Medicine, and earned a certificate in Basic Occupational Ergonomics through Colorado State University.
