Research and Teaching Interests
My research focuses on understanding how having a sense of self-worth contributes to autonomous agency, and how things like oppressive socialization or gaslighting can undermine autonomy by undermining self-respect. I'm also interested in the moral importance of self-expression and the ethics of workplace dress codes.
