Cal State San Bernardino’s 38th annual Student Research Competition is set for 9 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, when students from all five colleges present their research before a panel of judges in the James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education atrium.

The competition gives students the opportunity to develop their presentation and communication skills while showcasing their scholarly achievements through hands-on learning. Students will leverage their academic strengths to compete to advance to the CSU Research Competition.

Winners of the CSUSB Student Research Competition will advance to the statewide California State University (CSU) Research Competition, where they will compete against other outstanding scholars in the CSU system. The 2024 CSU Research Competition will take place at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo later this spring.

Last year’s CSUSB event featured 33 student presenters – twelve of those participants moved on to represent CSUSB at the statewide CSU Student Research Competition.
