Cal State San Bernardino’s University Police Department will conduct an Active Shooter Preparedness Drill on Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 7 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m.
The primary exercise will take place at Jack H. Brown Hall. University police and other first responders will be simulating an actual emergency call in Jack Brown Hall.
Community members in and around Jack Brown Hall should be aware that they may experience sights and sounds related to the role playing in this exercise.
Sounds may include simulated gun shots, shouting, emergency vehicles responding, and officers with visible weapons.
The exercise will test the tactical response of police officers and dispatchers to an emergency call.
