The Institute for Child Development serves as the operational lead agency for the Racial Equity Research Project within Early Childhood Education in San Bernardino County. They are tasked with coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the research including literature review, design, sampling, data entry and analysis, results, and implications/recommendations of next steps based on the results. Results of the research are to be presented regionally, in state, and on the national levels. A Research Brief for First 5 San Bernardino and QSSB will be created to distribute and publish. In collaboration with First 5 and QSSB an Action Plan on next steps for our QRIS system as well as for the county will be created.
