AR Mentoring Undergraduate Students Education (MUSE)

Mentoring Undergraduate Students Education (MUSE) Mentorship Training at CSUSB Initial Campus Announcement for the MUSE Mentorship Training Program         

The MUSE program, based in large part on the BUILD Mentorship Training Program at California State University Long Beach, is designed to encourage faculty to undertake a critical discussion of best practices in student mentorship through an online, asynchronous, program laid out over the course of six weeks. The MUSE Program coordinators will lead discussions in topics including diversity, ethics, aligning goals, navigating power structures, and mentor/mentee expectations. Faculty participants will be expected to participate in weekly discussions and the course will conclude with the completion of a mentor/mentee contract template that faculty can utilize in mentoring situations.
