A lecture with Dr. Enrique Mijares
Dr. Enrique Mijares is an academic in Education with a specialty in Humanities from the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey and a full-time professor at the University of Juárez in the state of Durango, where he directs the Espacio Vacío theater workshop with more than a hundred stagings and the Teatro de Frontera editorial collection. He has coordinated fifty Dramaturgy workshops in various cities of Mexico, Costa Rica, Colombia, Argentina, Ireland and Spain. Dr. Mijares has also published more than fifty plays and numerous books, essays and prologues on dramaturgy and theater theory, the most recent: The spectator knows the future (2015). Among his awards are the international "Tirso de Molina" 1997 and the National Dramaturgy for career ¨Juan Ruiz de Alarcón” 2020.
