Come and enjoy these casual brown bag events to meet fellow OLLI members while you enjoy a fun or interesting short program. Either bring a lunch or stop by the OLLI office before 10:00 to pre-order a sub sandwich for noon delivery (cash only, please). This Lunch & Learn program runs from 12-1 p.m. and meets in room 303 in the Mary Stuart Rogers Gateway Building. No reservations required; just stop in.
This Lunch & Learn will focus on the latest news about Coachella Valley groundwater management and needs for the future. About 40% of the water used in the Coachella Valley comes from groundwater. New state laws require that groundwater resources be managed in a sustainable manner. We'll discuss what that means for local residents.
