In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the SMSU LatinX Center will be hosting a workshop highlighting the importance of recognizing Hispanic Serving Initiations and why it is important that the Latinx community are achieving higher education. Discussions will include common challenges that Latinx students face while attending a university and tips on how to overcome them.
