The American Robin is a common year-round, breeding resident on campus. They can be seen anywhere on campus, especially walking on grassy lawns in search of earthworms. It is a common breeding resident in southern California.

High Count: 75, Average Count: 5-15

Adult male American Robins can be identified by their yellow bill, black head with white eye ring, dark gray upperparts, and reddish orange underparts. Females look like a paler or washed out version of the male. Juveniles are similar to adults but have a heavily spotted breast.
