Cal State San Bernardino will celebrate its Class of 2024 during commencement exercises at the Toyota Arena in Ontario on Friday and Saturday, May 17-18. In addition to the in-person ceremonies, each will be livestreamed.

More than 3,100 students have registered to participate in the five ceremonies.

The pomp and circumstance begin when the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences holds two ceremonies, the first at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 17, for the departments of child development, economics, ethnic studies, political science and psychology. The second ceremony, for the schools of criminology and criminal justice and social work, and the departments of anthropology, geography and environmental studies, history, social sciences and sociology begin at 6 p.m. Friday, May 17. 

The celebrations continue on Saturday, May 18, with the College of Natural Sciences ceremony at 9 a.m., followed by the College of Arts and Letters and the James R. Watson and Judy Rodriguez Watson College of Education ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Philanthropist and 2024 Distinguished Alumna Ellen G. Weisser will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.  

Commencement weekend will culminate with the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration ceremony at 6 p.m. CSUSB alumna and California public servant Respondia “Dia” S. Poole will receive an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters at this ceremony.

The Toyota Arena is located at 4000 E. Ontario Center Parkway in Ontario.
