Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Eric Vogelsang (sociology) co-authored a paper on what social determinants motivate people to get the shingles vaccine, Anthony Silard (public administration) wrote the second part of his four-part series, “Is Life a Solo Journey?” and Brian Levin (criminal justice) continues to speak on the continuing surge of hate crimes against Asian Americans.

The vaccination clinic will be held at the CSUSB Student Recreation and Fitness Center on the east side of campus.

CSUSB, in partnership with Rite Aid to provide COVID-19 vaccinations on campus, will hold the next clinic on Saturday, May 1, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

For the flu shots, walk-ins are welcome with no appointment needed. Health screening and temperature checks will be required. For the COVID-19 testing, appointments are recommended. Face coverings are required.
