CSUSB psychology professor writes about the downsides of online dating
Nov. 7, 2019
Psychology Today

In her Psychology Today column, ‘More Than Chemistry,’ CSUSB psychology professor Kelly Campbell discusses the three downsides of online dating: overemphasis on physical appearance, disposable view of relationships, and risk of deception.

Campbell suggests expanding your “type” to allow for broader range connections, seeking a friendship with someone first to enhance the likelihood of building a strong connection, and listening to your gut and not ignoring red flags to avoid deception.

Campbell is also recruiting online daters to participate in a study. If interested, visit: http://csusb.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_3OTQ65oeTKpKQst
