The Santos Manuel Student Union Program Board will host Cal State San Bernardino’s annual end-of-the-year-party, Coyote Fest, today, Friday, June 8, from 8 p.m. to midnight, at the university’s athletic fields.

This year Coyote Fest will have a new layout and location since it began in 2009 and organizers expect to exceed more than its 7,000 in annual attendance.

It will be a night of fun and memories not found anywhere outside of CSUSB, featuring live music, carnival rides, interactive inflatables, henna artist, food trucks and more. There will also be a black light visuals station sponsored by Associated Students Inc. for the first 450 CSUSB students.

Admission and all activities are free for the CSUSB community and public. All food at the event must be paid for. Valid CSUSB parking or $6 daily pass required.

All guests are required to have a wristband and fill out a liability waiver prior to entry of the event and must bring a valid Coyote ID, California ID, driver’s license or other form of identification.

CSUSB alumni, faculty, staff and students will be able to get wristbands prior to the event through today, June 8, to avoid waiting in the highly anticipated lines. The wrist bands may be obtained at the front of University Hall, the SMSU walkway and behind John M. Pfau Library. All non-CSUSB affiliated guests can only receive a wristband on the day of the event starting at 8 p.m., at the mega information booth.

Coyote Fest does not have an age restriction but is recommended for ages 18 and up. Guests younger than 18 years old must be accompanied by a guardian or guest 18 years or older to sign a liability waiver.

For safety purposes, all guests are asked to not brings any bags, backpacks, purses or anything that may cause concern.
