Christopher Lindfelt, 52, associate dean of Undergraduate Education and professor of Health Sciences in the College of Natural Sciences passed away on June 2, 2018. Born in Alamosa, CO in 1966 and raised in Colorado Springs, he attended Lawrence University (where he received all-star and all-American status in football, as well as being inducted into the LU Hall of Fame) and earned his PhD (Psychology) from the Wright Institute at UC-Berkeley. He worked for the Alzheimer’s Foundation for many years, but the majority of his professional life was spent at CSUSB.  His obituary states that he “was well respected and valued by his students and colleagues.”He was survived by his wife, Dawn Lindfelt, and his four boys:  Wyatt, Cooper, Garret and Alton; also, his parents Hal Lindfelt, Mary Lou Shearn and stepfather Don Shearn, and his sister Leslie Lindfelt.
