CSUSB professor interviewed about U.S. sanctions being reinstated against Iran and economic challenges in Saudi ArabiaPress TVJan. 3, 2018 David Yaghoubian, professor of history at Cal State San Bernardino, was interviewed for a year-end report on the Iranian network’s program “Economic Divide.” Topics included the status of the Trump administration’s effort to reimpose sanctions on Iran and Saudi Arabia’s current economic challenges. Regarding the reinstatement of sanctions against Iran, Yaghoubian said, “Relative to [the Trump administration’s] statements and claims before the Nov. 5 reimposition of sanctions the effort to bring Iranian oil exports to zero has clearly failed.”  The video report can be viewed online at “2018: End Of The Year Review - part 2.” The interview with Yaghoubian is in the first 7 minutes of the program. Press TV is a 24-hour English language news and documentary network affiliated with Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting.
