Cal State San Bernardino has been listed among the best 50 universities in the nation offering bachelor’s and master’s online degree programs in criminal justice according to the 2019 rankings from TheBestSchools.org. The university was listed as 32nd in online bachelor’s degree programs and 31st in online master’s degree programs, according to the rankings, which can be found at TheBestSchool.org website. “These rankings show the hard work and dedication of our faculty and staff to provide an exceptional and challenging online criminal justice program to our students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels,” said Larry Gaines, professor and department chair of the CSUSB Department of Criminal Justice,  housed in the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences. Cal State San Bernardino’s Department of Criminal Justice provides a broad range of courses to provide students with a comprehensive and solid background for entering into criminal justice. The department offers courses examining: 

  • law enforcement,
  • corrections,
  • courts, and
  • various aspects of crime including gangs, drugs, white collar crime and criminal profiling. The curriculum is designed to meet student’s needs irrespective of their career aspirations.
