More than $7,000 was raised and more than 110 people participated in the third annual Chasing our Dreams 5K Walk/Run through the Cal State San Bernardino campus held on May 18. The run/walk was organized by the Coyote Dreamers Ally Network and the Undocumented Student Success Center (USSC). Cardenas Markets donated $5,000 as part of the contributions that will go toward scholarships for CSUSB Dreamers and undocumented students. The USSC was established to serve the undocumented student population at CSUSB. The center serves as a commons space for students and allies to connect with each other about issues regarding immigration, AB 540, employment opportunities and much more. The center was created as a centered location where resources and assistance can be easily accessible to the undocumented community.   Visit the CSUSB Undocumented Student Success Center website for more information on the center.
