Power to the San Bernardino campus has been restored as of 9:55 a.m. Normal campus operations will resume Friday, July 26th. Essential staff with questions on whether to report should contact their appropriate administrator. Facilities Management will be working to check all building systems including HVAC, elevators and fire alarms. If power has not been restored in your work area when you return, please report that to Facilities Planning and Management at (909) 537-5175. The Palm Desert Campus remains open and operational.

Am I Eligible for Project Rebound?

Project Rebound at CSU San Bernardino welcomes inquiries from anyone who has been previously incarcerated or has prior criminal justice system involvement and is interested in obtaining a university education and degree. All current Cal State San Bernardino, students who have prior criminal justice system involvement are also eligible to participate in Project Rebound. Below you will find our admissions requirements. 

To be eligible, individuals must:

  • Be formerly incarcerated or have prior criminal justice system involvement; on or off parole or probation
  • Be living or paroling to greater Los Angeles metropolitan area (Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino counties)
  • Possess the ability and commitment to perform college-level work
  • Be motivated to succeed and benefit from a college education
  • Maintain satisfactory progress and complete at least 6 units each semester

  • Submit an admission application at CalStateApply
  • Submit a financial aid application FAFSA
