About Us

CSUSB is a proud recipient of the 2022 CAMP grant

The College Assistance Migrant Programs (CAMP) have existed since 1972. This year CSUSB, in collaboration with One Future Coachella Valley was awarded the competitive grant for the first time. This grant allows us to serve the diverse community of students from migrant farm-worker families, by providing them with critical resources, guidance, and support.

  • CAMP is funded by U.S. Department of Education, Office of Migrant Education
  • The grants are awarded in 5-year cycles
  • The programs focus on the student’s foundational first year of college
  • The objective is to ensure students develop a strong sense of academic commitment, and critical intellectual skills that will lead them to complete their studies and obtain their bachelor’s degree
