Yasemin Dildar, assistant professor of economics, has publications in journals such as World Development and Review of Radical Political Economy.

Economics assistant professor Yasemin Dildar’s primary research and teaching interest is development economics. Her other interests include macroeconomics, labor economics, political economy, feminist economics and environmental economics.

She has publications in journals such as World Development, Social Science History and Review of Radical Political Economy. Her most recent research projects focus on the determinants of domestic violence in Turkey and the impact of pro-natalist population policies on fertility preferences in Turkey.

Dildar earned her master’s in economics from Middle East Technical University in Turkey and her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
